Graeme Evans: Public policies on innovation and entrepreneurship in London

Professor Graeme Evans will serve on a panel at a workshop on ‘Public policies on innovation and entrepreneurship in London’, to be held at Cass Business School, City University on 20 October 2016 . The event is organised by the Research Group on Collaborative Spaces which is formed of chapters in Paris, London, Montreal, Lyon/Grenoble and Barcelona. The objective is to explore the current state of the art of public policies and corporate strategies related to collaborative communities and spaces and to make propositions for academics, society and policy makers.

Graeme will also be presenting his research on ‘Work and workplace transformations: the new communities of makers and entrepreneurs in the city’ at the RGCS Symposium on collaborative communities and movements which will take place on 16th December at the EM Lyon University campus in Paris. The Symposium entitled "Networks of social enterprises in the creative sector - clusters or ecosystems" will gather academics and practitioners interested in work and workplace transformations, in particular at the level of collaborative communities and social movements (co-workers, hackers, makers, fab labers…). The objective is to interact in depth with new people and to bring closer together the international community that is working on these emerging subjects through several interactive social events. This includes a night guided tour by the conservateur of the Musée d’Orsay, an interactive Parisian expedition to discover the collaborative landscape of the city, and an artistic exposition of Berlin’s collaborative spaces in the Paris City Hall.
