CREATE/Feminisms Research Cluster
Main contacts: Alexandra Kokoli: a.kokoli[at]mdx.ac.ukThis Cluster extends paradigmatic work begun at Middlesex’s Visual Culture group. A mix of practice-led and text-based staff provide distinctive critical mass for feminist research. Members are journal editors (n.paradoxa: international feminist art journal), engage with new generation histories and analysis, provide a broad context for feminist intersections with other Clusters, such as research on Black women artists, and research a range of theoretic and discipline-specific areas, such as psychoanalysis, social practice, and domestic design. Current members include Feona Attwood, Helen Bendon, Katy Deepwell, Alexandra Kokoli, Alice Maude-Roxby, Kathleen Mullianeff, Neelam Raina, and Tansy Spinks.
